Azuluna Veal - free roaming, mother's milk fed veal in the European tradition. Azuluna is mother's milk-fed veal. Azuluna Veal is raised the old-fashioned European way; our calves nurse naturally on mother’s milk. They are free to roam on open pasture and are not confined in crates, pens or tethered. Azuluna Veal has a unique flavor. It is more robust than the white veal many people are used to, but milder than grass or grain-fed veal which is dark red and has a strong beef-like flavor. Azuluna Veal is light rose in color – with a wonderful flavor. Azuluna Veal is currently available at select Whole Foods Markets stores in the New England Region. Since it is raised on pasture, its availability varies with the season. |
